About Gil Trujillo

With over a decade of experience spanning Aerospace & Defense, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, and Advanced Manufacturing, Gil Trujillo brings a diverse background in operations leadership, engineering support, project management, and business development within highly regulated production environments.

Throughout his career, Gil has led cross-functional teams, managed complex production schedules, and supported engineering and manufacturing initiatives from concept through execution. His expertise includes tooling and mold shop operations, production planning, continuous improvement, cost control, and new product introductions while maintaining compliance with AS9100, ISO, FDA, OSHA, ITAR, and Department of Defense standards.

As Sales Engineering Manager and Business Development lead within the metal fabrication and structural construction industry, Gil serves as a key technical liaison between customers, estimating, engineering, and production teams. He supports RFQs, develops pricing strategies, coordinates vendor relationships, and drives customer growth while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.

Prior to his current role, Gil held leadership positions in operations and manufacturing management, where he oversaw labor and resource planning, collaborated with engineering on first-article launches, and promoted a culture focused on accountability, safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Earlier in his career, Gil contributed to aerospace missile defense and space programs as a Project Manager and Project Engineer, supporting 3D modeling, BOM development, vendor sourcing, quoting, and compliance with strict customer and government requirements. His background in pharmaceutical and food manufacturing further strengthened his expertise in quality systems, documentation, and validated production processes.
