We offer unparalleled knowledge in complex precision machining.

Pen Manufacturing delivers custom bronze fabrication and bronze metal fabrication for OEMs, mechanical engineers, and procurement teams across the United States. From our AS9100- and ISO 9001-certified facility in Anaheim, California, we machine, fabricate, finish, and assemble precision bronze components — bearings, bushings, marine hardware, and wear parts — for prototype, low-volume, and high-volume production.
There are wide arrays of alloys that can be categorized as bronze, and we work with experts to provide our customers with the perfect composition of bronze, copper, and tin. Bronze makes up a large amount of the nitty gritty components of the world and has been used for millennia. Bronze is a popular metal to work with and used in many industries because it offers high strength at a low density, non-magnetic, and can be a great conductor of electricity and heat.
When a part has to survive friction, saltwater, or decades of load cycles, bronze earns its keep — and so does the shop that knows how to work it. Get a Quote and upload your CAD files to get started.
Bronze metal fabrication is the process of machining, cutting, forming, and joining bronze — a family of copper alloys based on tin, and extending to aluminum, phosphor, and silicon bronzes — into finished components. Manufacturers specify bronze where wear resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, and non-sparking safety matter most: bearings, bushings, marine hardware, and heavy-equipment wear parts.
At Pen Manufacturing, bronze work runs entirely in-house, from raw bar and tube to machined, finished, and assembled parts — one accountable partner for mission-critical components.
Cost effectiveness
Excellent surface finishes
High dimensional precision
High thermal and electrical conductivity
Non-magnetic and non-sparking properties
Resistance to corrosion and metal fatigue
Bronze machines beautifully when you know the family. Bearing bronzes such as C932 cut freely and hold excellent surface finishes, while tougher aluminum bronzes demand rigid setups and the right feeds — the kind of judgment that comes from decades at the spindle.
Our bronze CNC machining produces custom bronze parts to tight tolerances: bushings, thrust washers, gears, worm wheels, valve and pump internals, and precision wear components, each verified on calibrated Keyence CMM equipment before shipment.
Bearings, bushings, and thrust washers for rotating and sliding assemblies
Marine hardware, shaft sleeves, and fittings exposed to seawater
Pump and valve internals in energy and industrial systems
Gears and worm wheels where quiet, low-friction meshing matters
Wear plates and guide components for mining and heavy equipment
Non-sparking hardware for hazardous and explosive environments
Electrical connectors and conductive structural parts
From bronze bar stock to round bar to bronze tube, we offer bronze material in all shapes. Bronze can be easily joined to itself and all other copper alloys by soft soldering and brazing. Fabrication of intricate bronze work is much easier than some other metals and results in cleaner lines due to elimination of screws, rivets, and other connecting devices.
That joining capability pairs with in-house finishing and assembly, so machined and fabricated bronze components arrive as complete, ready-to-install units.
U.S. manufacturers specify our bronze fabrication for marine, aerospace, defense, industrial machinery, energy, transportation, mining, and heavy equipment. These are industries where a failed bushing stops a vessel, a rig, or a production line — and where the wear life engineered into a bronze component is the difference between scheduled maintenance and unscheduled downtime.
Mission-critical parts deserve a fabricator with nothing to prove and everything documented:
Experience measured in decades

Engineering first.
We identify critical dimensions, define quality metrics, and use 3D modeling and prototyping to confirm manufacturability — including which bronze alloy suits your wear, corrosion, and load conditions.
Certified manufacturing.
Machining and fabrication proceed under the AS9100/ISO 9001 system with in-process inspection at verified checkpoints.
Verified, finished, delivered.
Keyence CMM and calibrated metrology confirm every critical dimension; parts are finished, assembled as required, and shipped to schedule.
Bearings, bushings, marine hardware, wear parts — when the component can't fail, the fabricator can't guess. Pen Manufacturing delivers precision bronze components backed by 30+ years of experience and AS9100/ISO 9001 certified quality.
